I was lucky enough to be in Barcelona during the Christmas week. Lucky because that is the time when the archaic streets from the city of Gaudi color up with a variety of shops which offer Christmas decorations for sale. Each type has its own heritage and story. Whether it be the Caganer figurines (Catalonian for the pooping man) or the Tio de Nadal (Christmas log) each kind has its own beauty that charm the locals and the tourists alike.
These images serve not only as a documentary of the Christmas street shops in Barcelona but also as a piece of my memory of my visit to this beautiful city.
